ABOUT THE EDITOR, Puah Sze Ning
As a photographer myself, I remembered how hard it was to build the confidence to take up photography.
Rather than reading photography magazines and books where the photographers seem so distant and too professional, I spent a lot of time following the works of many female photographers on flickr.com, whom I could easily learn from because it was personal and I could relate to them.

This gave me the idea to share photography through the eyes, heart and soul of other women photographers in hopes of inspiring others.
Apart from maintaining Chiq Clicks, I freelance doing documentary photography and am also one of the founding team members of Elevyn.com, a fair trade website which enables indigenous and marginalized communities to sell their crafts online directly to buyers.

Many of the interviewees on Chiq Clicks (http://chiqclicks.com/?cat=4) are photographers I’ve been following on Flickr for years and they still continue to inspire me
